Welcome To Narcissim Exposed

Our Mission.

At Narcissism Exposed, our mission transcends conventional therapy. We are dedicated to illuminating the often invisible wounds of narcissistic abuse and providing a comprehensive pathway to healing that addresses both the psychological and emotional dimensions of trauma recovery. Founded by survivors for survivors, we understand that healing from narcissistic abuse requires specialized knowledge, compassionate guidance, and a supportive community that truly comprehends the unique challenges you face.

We recognize that narcissistic abuse creates wounds unlike those from other traumatic experiences. The subtle psychological manipulation, reality distortion, and identity erosion that occur in these relationships leave survivors questioning not just their experiences, but their very perception of reality and sense of self. Traditional therapeutic approaches often fail to address these specific dynamics, leaving many survivors feeling misunderstood and inadequately supported in their healing journey.

Our purpose is to bridge this gap by combining evidence-based therapeutic practices with lived experience, creating a healing environment where your experiences are validated, your perceptions are trusted, and your path to recovery is guided by those who have walked similar roads. We believe that with proper support, education, and community, survivors can not only heal from narcissistic abuse but emerge with a stronger, more authentic sense of self and the capacity for healthier relationships.

Fahim Chughtai, Certified Relationships Coach and Narcissistic Abuse Survivor

My journey into the field of narcissistic abuse recovery began not in a classroom but in the crucible of childhood experience.

Growing up with a narcissistic parent shaped my understanding of love, worthiness, and identity in profoundly distorted ways. The constant emotional manipulation, unpredictable shifts between idealization and devaluation, and the subtle undermining of my reality left me with deep wounds that traditional therapy initially struggled to address.
It wasn't until I connected my childhood experiences to the specific patterns of narcissistic abuse that my healing journey truly began. Through extensive personal work, specialized training, and a commitment to understanding the unique dynamics of narcissistic relationships, I gradually reclaimed my sense of self and reality. This transformation inspired me to become a certified relationships coach, specializing in helping others who have experienced similar trauma.
What drives my work is the recognition that narcissistic abuse thrives in silence and isolation. By sharing my story and the insights gained through both personal and professional experience, I aim to break this silence and create spaces where survivors feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe that healing becomes possible when we name our experiences and connect them to larger patterns of narcissistic behavior.
My approach combines practical tools for boundary setting and reality anchoring with deeper emotional work that addresses the core identity wounds inflicted by narcissistic abuse. I particularly focus on helping survivors of parental narcissism understand how their childhood experiences shape their adult relationships and self-concept, and how to disentangle their authentic selves from the distorted reflections created by narcissistic parents.
At Narcissism Exposed, I bring this integrated perspective of personal experience and professional expertise to create healing pathways that address both the visible and invisible impacts of narcissistic abuse. I am committed to walking alongside you as you reclaim your story, rebuild your sense of self, and create a life defined by your own values rather than the distorted expectations of a narcissistic relationship.

Specialized Therapist

My path to specializing in narcissistic abuse recovery represents the convergence of academic pursuit and personal transformation. With degrees from prestigious institutions including Johns Hopkins University and New York University, and a postgraduate degree in Psychological Studies from the University of Glasgow, I entered the field of psychology with a solid theoretical foundation.

Despite my extensive education, I found myself vulnerable to the manipulative tactics of a narcissistic partner. The cognitive dissonance this created—being professionally trained to understand human behavior yet personally unable to recognize the abuse I was experiencing—highlighted for me the insidious nature of narcissistic manipulation and the specialized knowledge required to address it.
Through my own recovery process, I developed a deeper understanding of how narcissistic abuse affects the brain, identity formation, and relational patterns. I came to recognize that healing requires not just addressing symptomatic expressions of trauma, but fundamentally rebuilding one's relationship with reality and selfhood after systematic psychological manipulation.
This insight led me to pursue specialized training in trauma-informed therapeutic approaches, particularly those addressing Complex PTSD and the specific dynamics of Cluster B personality disorders. I became particularly interested in the neurobiological impacts of narcissistic abuse and how targeted therapeutic interventions can help rebuild neural pathways disrupted by chronic psychological trauma.
My professional practice now integrates this specialized knowledge with traditional therapeutic approaches, creating a comprehensive framework for healing that addresses both the neurological and psychological dimensions of recovery. I believe in the power of combining compassionate validation with practical skill-building, helping survivors not only process their traumatic experiences but develop concrete tools for reclaiming their agency and rebuilding their lives.
At Narcissism Exposed, I am committed to bridging the gap between academic understanding and lived experience, creating therapeutic relationships where both dimensions of knowledge are honored. My dual perspective as both a clinician and survivor informs every aspect of my work, from individual therapy sessions to the educational content I create for our community.
